Acceptable Use & Content
Last updated: June 15, 2026
1. Your content is yours
Your campaign data and the maps, worlds, characters, and other material you create or generate in QuestMaster are yours. We claim no ownership over them. We store and process them only to provide the Service to you, and you can export or delete them at any time from Account › Security. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to anything you upload.
2. AI-generated content
- AI features are optional and assistive. Anything the AI produces (NPCs, items, encounters, maps, portraits, recaps, chat) is a draft for you, the DM, to review, edit, and approve. The DM is always the driver.
- AI output can be inaccurate, derivative, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing it before use, including for accuracy and for any rights or policy concerns.
- Ownership and licensing of AI output depend on the AI provider’s terms and on applicable law. QuestMaster does not claim ownership of what you generate, but cannot guarantee that AI output is free of third-party rights.
- Do not use the AI features to produce content that is illegal, infringing, or prohibited under the conduct rules below.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe anyone’s intellectual-property or privacy rights.
- Upload or generate content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative of minors.
- Attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the Service, other users’ data, or our providers’ systems.
- Scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its underlying data except as your own exported content.
- Share your account in a way that circumvents plan limits or entitlements.
